Welcome to the estate collection of the noted Tucson architect and artist James A Wares. In 1998 my father, Jim Wares, died at the age of 88. My sisters and I (Marilyn, Sharen and myself, Suzanne) inherited the balance of our father's exclusive art collection. As art collectors ourselves, we have each proudly displayed our dad’s paintings in our homes all our lives as do his six grandchildren as well.

I and my husband Dave have lived in Scottsdale, Arizona for more than 30 years. Thus, being so close to my parents home in Tucson, we were given the privilege of housing the majority of his numerous paintings after his death.

As heirs, our collective desire is to give many others the opportunity to enjoy the lifetime of work and art that my father's paintings represent.
